EagleCraft in Campbell River, British Columbia is seeking a Design and Manufacturing Technologist to enhance custom aluminum boat projects. Support 2D/3D design and documentation in a collaborative environment.

You will work alongside a skilled team specializing in custom vessels, ensuring accurate fabrication drawings and production packages. This role is ideal for individuals with mechanical design experience, proficient in evolving concepts into reality while coordinating effectively within project teams.

Key Responsibilities:• Create and modify 2D CAD drawings and 3D models • Develop layouts and fabrication drawings for vessels • Coordinate drawing updates based on production team feedback • Assist in troubleshooting design and manufacturing issues • Prepare and maintain technical documentation and BOMs

Requirements:• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology • 2+ years in mechanical design or custom production • Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Excel • Familiarity with CNC processes is an asset • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
