Trainer III (Candiac)

Our Client, a Global Power Technology Leader company, is looking for a Trainer III for their Candiac, QC/Remote location. Responsibilities: Provide live translation from French Canadian to English and English to French Canadian during Instructor Led technical trainings Offer translation assistance during specific training programs to help workers maintain or improve job skill Translate training procedure manuals and guides and course materials such as handouts and visual materials from English to French Canadian Offer translation assistance during different instructional techniques and formats, such as role-playing, simulations, team exercises, group discussions, videos and lectures Responsibilities include delivering real-time translations to students, assisting with Power Point presentations, and supporting instruction in both classroom and shop environments by translating while engaging directly with students. This role requires extended periods of standing and being on ones feet. Candidates must also have and wear appropriate safety equipment, including safety glasses and steel-toe shoes. Requirements: Client is looking for a technical translator to join its training and development team based in Candiac to provide live translations from English to French Canadian and French Canadian to English. High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations. This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations. Requires some work experience or intermediate level knowledge obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience. Exercises minimal independent judgment with direction from supervisor. Fluent in both English and French Canadian, written and spoken (Required) Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, customer service and interpersonal skills (Required) Ability to work independently and manage ones time (Required) Basic knowledge of principles and methods for curriculum and training design, translating for individuals and groups (Required) Basic knowledge of media production, communication, and dissemination techniques and methods (Typically required) Basic knowledge of human behavior and performance; individual differences in ability, personality, and interests; learning and motivation; psychological research methods (Typically required) Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word and Power Point (Typically required) High School Diploma Why Should You Apply?
