EXP is seeking an Intermediate Mechanical Design Engineer for its locations in Saint John, Moncton, or Fredericton, NB, as well as Sydney or Halifax, NS. This role involves managing municipal, industrial, and commercial design projects while collaborating with a diverse team. Ideal candidates will bring at least 7 years of experience in mechanical engineering and a robust understanding of relevant codes and standards. Key Responsibilities: • Prepare design drawings, specifications, and reports • Design HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems • Conduct mechanical calculations for various systems • Develop equipment schedules and coordinate designs • Perform energy audits for sustainability certifications Requirements: • Licensed Qualified Engineer (P.Eng.) or eligible • Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering with 7+ years experience • Knowledge of Canadian Building Code and ASHRAE standards • Proficient in Revit/BIM and communication skills • Familiar with energy modeling tools and Microsoft Office Bring your expertise in mechanical design to EXP and contribute to sustainable engineering solutions.
