Warehouse Associate (Elora)

Overview We are seeking a reliable and experienced Warehouse Associate to join our agile team. This role involves supporting warehouse distribution operations, utilizing heavy equipment, and ensuring efficient order fulfillment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse management systems, heavy equipment operation, and logistics processes. Prior experience with shipping & receiving, order picking, and packaging is highly desirable to ensure smooth daily operations. Duties - Operate heavy equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, cranes, and other machinery to load and unload goods safely and efficiently - Assist with order picking and order fulfillment to meet customer demands accurately and promptly - Manage shipping & receiving processes, including verifying shipments and maintaining inventory records using systems like AS400 or warehouse management systems - Perform heavy lifting tasks and assist with packaging products for shipment - Support construction or manufacturing activities related to warehouse operations when needed - Maintain a clean and organized work environment to adhere to safety standards - Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues and perform basic maintenance as required - Support warehouse distribution activities by loading, unloading, and moving materials within the facility Requirements - Proven experience in warehouse operations, including warehousing experience with heavy equipment operation such as forklifts, reach trucks, cranes, or similar machinery - Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) like AS400 or equivalent software - Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks regularly - Mechanical knowledge related to manufacturing or construction environments is a plus - Experience in shipping & receiving, order picking, packaging, and order fulfillment processes - Familiarity with heavy equipment operation including forklifts, cranes, or other industrial machinery - Strong attention to safety protocols and ability to operate heavy equipment responsibly - Prior experience working in manufacturing or warehouse distribution environments is preferred - Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining accuracy and safety standards Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour Benefits: - On-site parking Work Location: In person Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2p65gj
