Job Description Diamond Machine Operator (Summer Student) Responsibilities The student will prepare, inspect and machine parts on electro-erosion machines.
Tasks
Read and interpret blueprints.
Manufacture and sharpen diamond tools.
Operate and program EDM machines.
Perform quality control checks using various metrology instruments.
Perform preventative maintenance on EDM machines.
Diploma
DEC in Mechanical Engineering or similar, currently enrolled (1st year)
Required Skills
Attentive to quality and detail.
Other The student will work full-time during the summer with an adapted schedule upon resumption of studies.
