What You'll Do You’ll have the fulfilling opportunity to make a real impact in our clients’ lives, providing short‑term counseling when they need support most. You will develop your clinical skills while working with a diverse and stimulating client base. How You Will Make an Impact - Adapt your interventions to fit your personal style, providing short‑term counseling to a varied client base with diverse issues; - Efficiently manage administrative requirements using clinical templates and technology tools that simplify note‑taking; - Participate in team meetings and peer groups where open discussions are encouraged. What You Bring - Comfortable with a diverse client base and skilled in brief interventions; - Proactive, resourceful, and organized, valuing collaboration with colleagues; - Hold a master’s or doctoral degree in mental health or a related field; - Registered member in valuable standing with the OPQ, OTSTCFQ, OPSQ or OPPQ; - At least five years of clinical experience; - Can set short‑term goals and use a solution‑focused approach; - Empathetic and able to manage crisis or high‑risk situations; - Strong time management skills and able to manage a high volume of clients; - Proficiency in French required; bilingualism is an asset.
