Our public sector client is seeking a Senior Microsoft Power Platform Developer for a 48-week contract based in Ottawa. The successful candidate will design, develop, and support enterprise‑grade Power Platform solutions for a large‑scale federal government environment. Key Responsibilities
Design and develop Canvas Apps and Model‑Driven Apps using Microsoft Power Platform Build and maintain Power Automate cloud flows to automate business processes and approvals Integrate Power Platform solutions with Microsoft 365 services including SharePoint, Teams, and Outlook Implement and manage Power Platform governance includingDLP policies, setting strategy, and ALMIntegrate Power Platform with external systems using REST APIs, custom connectors, Azure Functions, and SQL/Azure data sources Manage Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) using Azure DevOps or Power Platform ALM tools Implement role‑based access control using Entra ID and Dataverse security rolesMandatory Requirements
Minimum 3 years of experience (within the last 5 years) designing and supporting enterprise Power Platform solutions (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) for organizations with 5,000+ users Minimum 3 years of experience (within the last 5 years) designing Canvas Apps and/or Model‑Driven Apps with Dataverse as the primary data source, including custom forms, business rules, and validation logicExperience on 2 or more projects (within the last 4 years, each at least 6 months) implementing Power Automate cloud flows with automated approvals, M365 integration, and error handling/logging Minimum 2 years of experience (within the last 4 years) implementing Power Platform governance including DLP policies, environment strategy (DEV/TEST/PROD), Entra ID security roles, and solution lifecycle managementMinimum 2 years of experience (within the last 4 years) integrating Power Platform with external systems via REST APIs, custom connectors, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, or Azure‑hosted data sources Minimum 2 years of experience (within the last 4 years) using ALM practices for Power Platform including source control and solution deployment via Azure DevOps or ALM for Power PlatformLanguage Requirement
Bilingual (English and French)– Advanced proficiency required in oral, comprehension, and written communication Security Requirement
Valid Government of Canada security clearance required (or eligibility to obtain one)
