Logistics Coordinator (Alliston)

About the Role We’re hiring a hands-on Logistics Coordinator to oversee operations at our log export and warehousing facility in Alliston, Ontario. Our facility specializes in loading logs into shipping containers, managing fumigation and CFIA inspections, and dispatching containers to rail yards for overseas export. If you have a background in warehouse operations, logistics, or export shipping, this could be a great fit. Responsibilities - Ensure that internal systems are kept updated at all times with latest shipment status and tracking, in and out of the yard. - Shipment status includes daily loading operations of logs into ocean freight containers, fumigation of logs, and CFIA phytosanitary inspections and documentation - Dispatch and track containers sent to rail yards for ocean export - Communicate with truckers, freight forwarding team, and other internal teams Experience - 3+ years’ experience in logistics, warehouse, or export shipping operations - Knowledge of export regulations, fumigation, and containerized logistics is an asset - Strong computer skills (data entry, shipping systems, inventory software) - Great communication and organizational skills - Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in an active facility workplace - Must be legally eligible to work in Canada Why Join Us? - Competitive salary based on experience, with bonus potential based on operational efficiency - Full-time, stable position with growth potential - Health & safety-focused environment Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year Benefits: - Casual dress - Company events - Dental care - Extended health care - On-site parking - Paid time off - RRSP match - Vision care Application question(s): - Are you able to reliably commute to our office located in Alliston, by 8AM Monday to Friday?
