Housekeeper/Cleaner (Summerside)

This is a seasonal job. The postion will start in June and end date will be determined. (approx September/October) Possibility of transitioning to a full-time, year-round position, though not guaranteed. Shifts are daytime shifts, 8am-4pm (5pm depending how busy). Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cleanliness and hospitality, ensuring that the spaces are maintained to the highest standards. This role requires strong communication skills and a commitment to providing excellent customer service. As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming environment for our guests. Responsibilities - Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms and spaces. - Launder linens and towels, ensuring they are clean and neatly presented. - Organize and maintain cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring everything is in good working order. - Communicate effectively with Housekeeping Supervisor(s) and other Housekeepers. - Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any concerns or requests promptly. - Uphold high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. - Maintain confidentiality and respect the privacy of guests at all times. Requirements - Strong organizational skills with an eye for detail. - Excellent communication skills in English. - Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. - A friendly demeanor with a robust commitment to customer service and hospitality. - Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks efficiently throughout the day. - Willingness to learn new techniques and adapt to various cleaning methods as needed.
