General Labourer (Fernwood)

Job Summary We are seeking a dependable and hardworking General Labourer to support our landscaping and contracting teams in various physical tasks at various worksites. This role is essential for maintaining smooth operations and ensuring safety standards are met. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, physically fit, and ready to contribute to a dynamic work environment. Prior experience is a plus but not required, as training will be provided. Duties - Assist with loading and unloading materials and equipment - Perform general site cleanup and debris removal - Support skilled tradespeople with basic tasks as needed - Operate manual tools and lawn equipment - Help with site preparation, including setting up barriers or signage - Follow safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents or injuries - Perform other physical duties as assigned to support project timelines and quality standards Qualifications - Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods - Strong work ethic with attention to safety procedures - Valuable communication skills and ability to follow instructions clearly - Reliable, punctual, and able to work well within a team environment - Prior experience in construction, landscaping, or similar roles is advantageous but not mandatory - Must have reliable transportation and a valid Driver's License This part-time position offers the opportunity to join our team and develop your skills in a supportive environment while contributing directly to project success.
