Join the Institute of Island Studies at UPEI as a Graduate Research Assistant, engaging in qualitative research and video production focused on community well-being in Prince Edward Island. This dynamic role supports the 'INTANGIBLE' project that highlights local initiatives.

Working 12 hours per week for $27.81 per hour plus vacation pay, you will collaborate with Dr. Phil Davison to organize community gatherings, collect audio-visual content, and interpret findings. This position aims to foster inclusiveness and vitality in communities across PEI.

Key Responsibilities:• Facilitate community gatherings across Prince Edward Island • Gather and organize audio and visual data effectively • Attend research meetings and training sessions • Analyze and interpret research findings • Work alongside a film production team

Requirements:• Enrolled as a Graduate student at UPEI • Experience in qualitative research methodologies • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills • Ability to work independently on research tasks • Quick adaptation to new film production applications
