Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a strong commitment to providing exceptional service in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This role involves preparing high-quality meals, ensuring food safety standards, and contributing to a positive dining experience for our guests. Duties Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including proper food handling practices. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Monitor food inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed. Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines to ensure the highest quality of food service. Participate in training sessions to enhance cooking skills and knowledge of menu items. Experience Previous experience in a restaurant or food service workplace is preferred. Familiarity with cooking techniques, food preparation methods, and kitchen equipment is essential. Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is required. Solid attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently under pressure. Excellent teamwork skills and a positive attitude towards collaboration in the kitchen setting.
