Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a solid commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. This role involves preparing ingredients, cooking meals, and ensuring that kitchen operations run smoothly in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards, ensuring consistency in flavor and presentation. Assist in meal preparation by chopping vegetables, marinating proteins, and measuring ingredients. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including proper storage of food items. Follow all food safety guidelines, including proper food handling and sanitation practices. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed. Participate in daily kitchen operations, including setup and breakdown of workstations. Requirements Previous experience in food service or a similar role is preferred. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for food handling. Ability to work efficiently in a rapid-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail. Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff. Flexibility to work various shifts, including mornings, evenings and weekends as needed. A passion for cooking and a desire to learn current techniques within the food industry.
