General Labourer (Chatham-Kent)

We have monthly company outings and we pride ourselves in the close knit, team atmosphere, we have established. In this entry level job, you will be responsible for learning an assortment of jobs. In the Recycled Pallet Department, you will be sorting, stacking, fixing and dismantling a variety of different sized pallets. You must be able to lift 50 lbs and being physically fit is an asset. You must have strong communication skills, experience working in a team setting is an asset The New HT Pallet Department, you will be responsible for cutting and notching Raw HT Lumber, and then building New HT Pallets for our customers. Experience and knowledge of basic power tools such as a nail gun, skill saw and chop saw are an asset, but not a requirement. The ability to read a tape measure is a must. Experience in construction - specifically roofing - is a huge asset. Work is indoors and this job is either straight days or straight afternoons. Along with your regular hours there may be opportunities for overtime. You must provide your own steel toed work boots. We will provide the rest of the necessary PPE. You must have reliable transportation to and from work. Attendance and punctuality are the biggest assets. We are located at 566 Riverview Drive in Chatham, Ontario.
