Village on the Ridge Cook Position, Kent (Blenheim)

Become a vital part of the Extendicare team as a Cook at the Village on the Ridge in Ridgetown, Ontario. This casual, part-time role involves preparing nourishing meals that adhere to safety and dietary standards.

In your role as Cook, you’ll be responsible for the entire meal process, including preparation, serving, and adherence to proper food safety techniques. Reporting to the Director of Culinary Services, you’ll manage meal planning, menu substitutions, and the overall quality of food service for residents and guests.

Key Responsibilities:• Prepare and serve meals for various dietary needs • Inspect kitchen equipment and food temperatures daily • Deliver meals with attention to presentation and quality • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards • Contribute to themed meal events and celebrations
