Job Description Position: Security Professional Location: Chatham, ON Type: Casual Pay Rate: $18.32 per hour Shifts: Mondays to Fridays (11:00-19:00), day shifts.

Allied Universal is currently hiring Security Professionals in Chatham, ON to provide professional, front‑line security services. This role is ideal for individuals with strong customer service skills, a professional demeanor and who are willing to work with a dynamic team.

Requirements

Familiarity with access control systems and alarms.

Experience with report writing and note‑taking.

Knowledge of CCTV monitoring systems.

Valid Ontario security guard license.

Driver's license considered an asset.

Must be eligible to work in Canada for 40 hours per week.

Valid First Aid and CPR certification is required.

Must be at least 18 years old.

High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience.

Specific Duties Performed And Essential Functions

Access control for the facility/area.

Present a polished, professional, customer‑friendly image at all times.

Ability to manage conflicts and incidents and to deescalate.

Patrolling and following protocols per the post orders, which may include indoor or outdoor patrols, managing the movement of guests at various points throughout the property.

Ensure that the facility's safety and emergency procedures are followed in response to fire alarms and other site emergencies.

Undertake site‑specific training, follow direction and guidance from Site Supervisor or Manager.

Demonstrate good judgement, common sense and decision‑making ability, particularly when required to take charge and direct others in emergencies or other incidents.

Meticulous record keeping, report writing, observation skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Operate/monitor security room equipment and complete site‑required training.
