Duties Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards Assist in food preparation, including chopping, marinating, and assembling ingredients Ensure all food handling and storage complies with safety regulations Serve meals efficiently and courteously to customers or staff Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas Follow food safety protocols to prevent contamination and ensure quality Monitor inventory levels and communicate needs for supplies or ingredients Collaborate with team members to ensure timely meal service during busy hours Skills Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant or food service environment Solid knowledge of food handling, safety, and sanitation standards Ability to serve customers professionally and efficiently Excellent meal preparation skills with attention to detail Familiarity with kitchen equipment and proper maintenance procedures Good organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced setting Knowledge of the food industry trends and best practices in culinary arts This position is ideal for individuals passionate about delivering quality food experiences.
