Description
Job Summary We welcome your interest in joining Martinrea on site at our Ridgetown, Ontario location. This role plans for all equipment maintenance updates and prepares regular maintenance schedules for all major equipment in the plant. The ability to assist the Engineering Department with CAD drawings and reverse engineering specialized tools is preferred. Requirements Minimum 3-5 years' experience in similar position Excellent planning/organizational skills Equivalent of 1 year technical diploma from a Community College and/or combination of experience Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Word and Excel Knowledge of EMaintenance or similar maintenance planning programs CAD (Solidworks, AutoCAD) experience preferred Experience in reverse engineering specialized tooling preferred Strong communicator in the English language, both written and oral Ability to work with others and supervise as necessary Excellent attendance Major Accountabilities Prepare maintenance schedules using the information from EMaintenance Review all equipment run times Review daily production requirements against maintenance schedules to ensure production numbers are met while ensuring the equipment is properly maintained Backup supervision of maintenance employees Maintain minimum equipment maintenance standards to ensure productivity Liaise with production to ensure information is shared in a timely manner Schedule outside contractors as necessary Ensure that all necessary materials and supplies are in stock and re-order as necessary Plan shut down maintenance work Ability to source critical spares in a timely and effective manner Review maintenance scheduling methods to ensure continuous improvement Assist Engineering Department with CAD technical drawings as requested Participate in internal quality audits to determine the effectiveness of the quality system Abide by all company polices including, but not limited to the following; Health and safety, Quality and Environmental Systems, Human resources policies, and Martinrea Employee Handbook Ensure compliance with all applicable codes, standards and legislation including Environmental Legislation, O. Reg 851 for Industrial Establishments, and the Occupational Health and Safety Act (with emphasis on Section 28, (1) (a)-(d), (2) (a)-(c)).
