We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee daily cleaning operations within our facility. The ideal candidate will have solid leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and a background in custodial services. This role involves supervising cleaning staff, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, and maintaining efficient workflow. The Housekeeping Supervisor will play a vital role in delivering exceptional service to our clients while managing various maintenance and cleaning tasks using both manual and power tools. Candidates should possess excellent communication skills, time management abilities, and experience with facilities maintenance.Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping activities to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met. Train and mentor housekeeping staff on proper cleaning techniques, use of hand tools, power tools, and custodial equipment. Conduct regular inspections of work areas to ensure quality standards are maintained.Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and maintenance tools, including hand tools and power tools. Perform or oversee routine facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs using hand tools or power tools. Schedule staff shifts efficiently to meet operational needs while adhering to safety protocols.Address customer service inquiries related to housekeeping services promptly and professionally. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during all cleaning and maintenance activities. Collaborate with management to develop improvement strategies for cleaning processes and facility upkeep.Qualifications

Proven experience in commercial cleaning, custodial services, or facilities maintenance. Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and safety procedures. Experience with the use of hand tools, power tools, and basic maintenance equipment is preferred. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.Strong communication skills for supervising staff and interacting with clients. Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary and stand for extended periods during shifts. Demonstrated leadership abilities with previous supervisory experience preferred. Custodial experience combined with a customer service mindset is highly desirable.Pay
