Production Operator (Chatham-Kent)

Title: Production Operator Based in: Work Floor Purpose: Work in day-to-day operations of the production floor Reports to: Production supervisor Responsibilities: - Operation of production equipment ensuring product quality - Preparing spice and brine mixtures for product - Monitoring of smokehouses and smoke generators including daily cleaning and set up - Setting up and tear down of production equipment daily - Cleaning and sanitation of all production equipment - Resolve work problems and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality Requirements: - Minimum grade 12 education - Able to lift 40 lbs repetitively - Able to work overtime if needed - Willingness to work in cold environments - 2-4 years experience an asset but not required Hours of work: - Approx 7-4 Mon-Friday. ~40 hours/week Pay: $20/hr Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $20.00 per hour Benefits: - Dental care - Extended health care - Vision care Adaptable language requirement: - French not required Work Location: In person Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2pj1us
