Description
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Kitchen Manager to lead our back‑of‑house operations in a fast‑paced, casual dining environment. This is a hands‑on leadership role offering stability, autonomy, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on kitchen performance and team development.Position Details:

30–40 hours per week (consistent scheduling) Must be available to work Fridays and Saturdays Compensation:

Competitive hourly wage (based on experience) Kitchen tip‑out participation Key Responsibilities:

Oversee all daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service Lead, train, and mentor staff to build a strong, accountable, and positive team culture Maintain high standards for food quality, consistency, and presentation Execute and manage food ordering, inventory control, and supplier coordinationDemonstrate strong food cost control through accurate menu costing and waste reduction Ensure full compliance with health and safety standards Maintain a clean, organized, and productive kitchen at all times Communicate clearly and effectively with team members and ownership Remain calm, adaptable, and solutions‑focused in a high‑pressure environmentConfidently manage shifts independently when required Qualifications:

Proven experience in a kitchen leadership or management role Strong leadership, communication, and team development skills Solid understanding of food cost control, inventory systems, and kitchen financials Experience with menu costing and operational planning Strong organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to perform under pressure and adapt quickly Valid Food Handler Certification required Smart Serve Certification preferred If you are a calm, organized leader who excels under pressure and takes pride in running an efficient kitchen, we’d love to hear from you.
