The Barber/Stylist will be responsible for providing professional haircuts, styling, and grooming services while ensuring client satisfaction and maintaining high standards of sanitation and safety. Duties - Perform haircuts, trims, shaves, and styling services tailored to client preferences - Provide expert advice on hair care and styling options to clients - Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tools, equipment, and workstations in accordance with health regulations - Engage with clients through excellent communication skills to understand their needs and offer personalized recommendations - Upsell retail hair products and styling accessories to enhance client experience and salon revenue - Manage front desk responsibilities including scheduling appointments, greeting clients, and handling payments - Foster a friendly and professional atmosphere that encourages repeat business and positive reviews - Assist with retail sales by promoting products that complement services provided Experience - Previous experience as a barber or stylist is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate - Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients - Knowledge of current hair styling trends, techniques, and sanitation practices - Ability to upsell products confidently while maintaining a focus on client satisfaction - Experience working at the front desk or handling retail sales is a plus - A professional appearance with excellent interpersonal skills to create a welcoming environment for clients Join our team where your creativity and dedication will be valued.
