This role focuses on designing, implementing, and optimizing complex infrastructure across on-premise and cloud environments. You will take ownership of architecture decisions, resolve advanced technical challenges, support escalations, and lead the technical execution of client environments. This role requires deep expertise, strong problem-solving ability, and accountability for system performance, security, and scalability. Key Responsibilities - Architect, design, and implement infrastructure solutions across hybrid and cloud environments - Lead technical design and execution for client onboarding, migrations, and transformation projects - Resolve complex Tier 3/4 escalations across systems, networks, and cloud platforms - Design and maintain secure cloud architectures (Azure, Microsoft 365, identity, and access control) - Standardize and optimize infrastructure across clients including servers, networking, and security - Define and enforce best practices for backups, disaster recovery, and business continuity - Build and maintain automation using scripting and infrastructure-as-code where applicable - Perform root cause analysis and implement long-term technical fixes - Monitor system performance, security posture, and capacity planning across environments - Maintain clear and accurate technical documentation and standards - Work directly with clients to design solutions, explain risks, and provide strategic guidance Technical Requirements - 7+ years of hands-on experience in systems, network, and cloud architecture - Strong expertise in Microsoft ecosystem (Windows Server, Azure, Microsoft 365, Entra ID) - Experience designing and managing hybrid environments (on-prem + cloud) - Advanced networking knowledge (routing, VLANs, VPNs, firewalls, segmentation) - Solid experience with security frameworks, endpoint protection, and access control - Experience with backup solutions (Veeam or equivalent) and disaster recovery design - Skilled in scripting and automation (PowerShell preferred)Experience with RMM and PSA tools in an MSP environment - Ability to design scalable, secure, and standardized client environments General Skills - Strong communication skills with ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly - High level of ownership and accountability for technical outcomes - Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills - Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment - Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and long-term solutions - Continuous learner with interest in evolving technologies - EOS-aligned mindset with focus on structure, accountability, and measurable results Additional Information - All offers of employment are subject to a satisfactory police criminal record check - Only candidates selected for an interview will be contacted Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $80,000.00 per year Benefits - Casual dress - Company events - Dental care - Mileage reimbursement - On-site parking - Paid time off - Tuition reimbursement - Vision care Work Location: In person Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2o2j34
