Groundskeeper/maintenance Chilliwack

We are looking for an experienced groundskeeper to work at our properties located in Chilliwack and Abbotsford. The right candidate should be able to work alone; hours worked are adaptable. A driver's abstract will be required as well as criminal record check. Hours can very depending on season. No set schedule, doesn't require working in extreme heat or poor weather. Requirements and skills Proven work experience as a Groundskeeper or similar role Knowledge of gardening techniques Knowledge of gardening products such as fertilizers and pesticides Physical stamina and the ability to stand for long periods Experience in snow clearing is a bonus but not required Responsibilities Performs a variety of tasks encompassing most elements of landscape maintenance, groundskeeping and gardening Maintain gardens and lawns, including trimming hedges, bushes and trees, planting, fertilizing, weeding and applying pesticides Prepare outdoor areas for various weather conditions Prunes shrubs, trees and ground covers Operate landscaping vehicles and maintenance equipment as qualified Operates various Employer's vehicles as qualified including trailers to load, unload and deliver supplies and equipment and/or Employer's assets Other related tasks as assigned Job Types: Full time, Part-time, Permanent, Seasonal Pay: From $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 24 – 32 per week Benefits: Casual dress Versatile schedule On-site parking Store discount Application question(s): Do you have 2 years experience grounds keeping or property maintenance?
