Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher to join our educational team. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student engagement and learning Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support individual growth Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and support staff to ensure comprehensive student development Utilize computer skills for record-keeping, lesson planning, and communication purposes Manage classroom behavior effectively while maintaining a positive atmosphere Adapt teaching methods to accommodate students with disabilities or special education needs Incorporate technology and educational tools to enhance learning experiences Maintain organized records of attendance, assessments, and student achievements Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with educational best practices Requirements ECE Ceritifcation Proven experience working with children in classroom settings or similar environments Strong communication skills in English; proficiency in French is a plus Knowledge of early childhood education, special education, and childcare principles Excellent organizational skills and time management abilities Leadership qualities with the ability to inspire and motivate students Proficiency in computer operation, educational software, and classroom technology tools Strong writing skills for lesson planning, reports, and communication with parents or guardians Relevant certifications or degrees in education or related fields preferred Bilingual abilities are highly desirable for diverse classroom settings Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $52,000.00-$60,000.00 per year Advantages: Employee assistance program In office parking Paid time off Work Location: In person Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2nm8dj
