Join Manning Park Resort as a Front Desk Agent and play a key role in welcoming guests, managing reservations, and ensuring smooth front office operations in a year‑round mountain setting.
Responsibilities
Welcome guests and handle check‑in, check‑out, and assistance.
Answer calls on the switchboard promptly.
Manage reservations and wait‑list inquiries in person, by phone, and via email.
Maintain guest accounts and provide accurate information on resort facilities, ski activities, campgrounds, boathouse, room rates, cancellation policy, and packages.
Interact in a friendly, courteous manner with guests and staff at all times.
Check the message slot and communication folder daily at the start of each shift.
Relay messages for guests and staff in a timely manner.
Coordinate communications with other departments.
Ensure security of the building.
Follow Standard Operating Procedures.
Adhere to fire, safety, and emergency procedures.
Record maintenance problems, incident reports, and handover sheets for any incidents or issues.
Keep the front office, back office, and kitchen areas clean.
Support the accounting department by balancing cash floats.
Qualifications
Strong customer service skills.
Responsible and self‑motivated, able to assess and prioritize duties.
Ability to work in a high‑paced environment as both an individual and team player.
Knowledge of the park and surrounding area (or intent to learn).
Experience with switchboard and base radio.
Computer proficiency for handling emails and inquiries efficiently.
Experience with a reservation system is an asset.
This is a year‑round position with a start date in May or June.
