Woodward Foods Australia is seeking a reliable Truck Driver to join our delivery team in metropolitan Adelaide. This role is suitable for an experienced MR or HR licence holder who can safely operate a box truck and deliver goods to customers in a timely and professional manner. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving a delivery truck, loading and unloading goods, checking delivery documents, securing loads, completing delivery paperwork, and ensuring goods are delivered safely and in good condition.Key duties include: --Driving a box truck for metropolitan deliveries across Adelaide --Manoeuvring the vehicle safely for loading and unloading --Loading, unloading, securing and checking goods before delivery --Checking delivery documents and obtaining delivery confirmations --Carrying out regular vehicle safety checks before and during shifts--Ensuring loads are safely distributed and comply with weight limits --Following road safety, workplace health and safety, and fatigue management requirements --Communicating professionally with customers, warehouse staff and management --Reporting any vehicle defects, delays, incidents or delivery issues promptlySelection criteria: --Current MR or HR driver licence --Previous truck driving or delivery experience is preferred --Good driving history with no recent suspension, cancellation or serious traffic offences --Ability to safely operate a box truck in metropolitan areas --Ability to load and unload goods safely--Basic understanding of delivery paperwork and load restraint --Reliable, punctual and able to work independently --Good communication and customer service skills --Ability to pass a police check if required This role is suitable for a practical and safety focused driver who has the skills and experience to operate a heavy vehicle, manage deliveries, check goods and documents, and represent the company professionally on the road.
