Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs Operate POS systems efficiently for sales transactions, cash handling, and returns Provide product information and recommendations to enhance customer satisfaction Maintain merchandising standards by restocking shelves and organizing displays Support landscape maintenance or gardening-related inquiries when applicable Manage e-commerce orders and assist with online product pickups or inquiries Ensure the store environment is clean, organized, and welcoming at all times Handle cashiering duties accurately and efficiently during peak hours Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth store operations Requirements Previous experience in retail sales, cashiering, or customer service preferred Knowledge of POS systems, cash handling, and merchandising techniques Robust communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus Interest or background in gardening, horticulture, or landscape maintenance is desirable Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail Ability to work effectively in a rapid-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously Good interpersonal skills with a friendly and professional demeanor Ability to stand for extended periods and lift light merchandise as needed Pay: From $22.00 per hour Benefits: Company pension On-site parking Experience: Retail Sales: 1 year (required) Work Location: In person Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2oqcup
