Join as a Summer Learning Teacher dedicated to Indigenous students success in secondary science. The role covers full credit Science 10 and Earth Sciences 11 courses across four weeks.

Scheduled from June 29 to July 24, 2026, you will teach from 8:45 AM to 2:45 PM in a role that values sensitivity to cultural learning experiences. Candidates must demonstrate a history of successful summer teaching and knowledge of the First People’s Principles of Learning, ensuring an inclusive environment for all students.

Key Responsibilities: • Teach and assess Science 10 and Earth Sciences 11 • Adapt curriculum to meet diverse student needs • Offer regular updates to parents on student progress • Develop robust ties with Indigenous community education partners • Apply Ministry’s evaluation and assessment principles

Requirements: • Proven teaching experience in relevant subjects • Strong understanding of Indigenous cultures • Commitment to the principles of child development • Exceptional communication with educators and parents • Ability to lead program development initiatives
