Residential Painter Job SummaryWe are seeking hardworking, reliable, and detail-oriented Residential Painters to join our team for the spring and summer season. Painters will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying high-quality coatings, and delivering professional results on residential painting projects. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on work, working outdoors, and being part of a fast-paced team environment. Responsibilities - Prepare residential surfaces for painting through scraping, sanding, caulking, masking, pressure washing, and priming. - Apply paints, stains, and coatings using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment while maintaining high-quality workmanship. - Complete interior and exterior painting projects efficiently and professionally. - Operate ladders, scaffolding, and basic painting equipment safely. - Maintain clean and organized job sites throughout the duration of each project. - Follow all company safety procedures and properly use personal protective equipment (PPE). - Communicate professionally with homeowners and team members on-site. - Assist with setup, cleanup, material handling, and general labor tasks as required. - Ensure projects are completed on time while meeting company quality standards. - Work collaboratively with crew members and crew leaders to solve problems and maintain productivity. Qualifications - Previous painting experience is considered an asset but is not required — training is provided. - Solid work ethic and willingness to learn. - Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions. - Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting, climbing ladders, and standing for extended periods. - Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Reliable transportation is considered an asset. - Positive attitude and strong communication skills. - Experience using hand tools, ladders, or power washers is beneficial.
