Key Responsibilities - Operate an Automatic Side Load (ASL) residential garbage truck on assigned collection routes - Collect, transport, and dispose of residential waste safely and efficiently following municipal and company guidelines - Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicles are safe and road-ready - Follow traffic laws, health and safety procedures, and company policies at all times - Report route delays, service concerns, vehicle issues, or equipment malfunctions to dispatch or management - Represent the company professionally while interacting with residents and the public - Maintain accurate route sheets, inspection records, and required documentation - Ensure safe operation of equipment and maintain cleanliness of the vehicle as needed Qualifications - Valid Class 3 Driver’s License with Air Brake Endorsement required - Clean driver’s abstract with a safe driving record - Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience; waste management or heavy truck experience considered an asset - Comfortable working independently and following scheduled routes with minimal supervision - Solid communication and customer service skills - Physically capable of repetitive truck entry/exit and occasional lifting when required - Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work in various weather conditions send resume to Pay: $35.00 per hour Benefits: - Dental care - RRSP match Work Location: In person Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2ozktp
