Host/Hostess/Busser (Chilliwack)

We are seeking a part-time Breakfast Hostess to support our morning team and ensure a warm, welcoming, and efficient experience for all guests. This role is ideal for someone who is friendly, organized, proactive, and able to maintain a smooth flow during our busiest hours. Key Responsibilities - Greeting guests — Warmly welcome guests entering the breakfast area and create a positive first impression. - Managing guest flow — Direct guests to available seating, monitor traffic, and ensure smooth entry and exit. - Verifying room status — Check the daily rooming list to confirm guests are in-house and eligible for breakfast. - Table clearing — Explicit, sanitize, and reset tables promptly to maintain seating availability. - Stocking breakfast items — Ensure all food, beverages, utensils, and condiments remain fully stocked throughout service. - Maintaining cleanliness — Keep the breakfast area tidy, including counters, floors, and service stations. - Guest assistance — Answer questions, assist with special requests, and provide friendly support. - Monitoring supplies — Communicate with the breakfast attendant or front desk when items need replenishing. - Closing support — Assist with light end-of-service cleanup as needed. - Team collaboration — Work closely with the breakfast attendant and front desk to ensure a seamless guest experience. Qualifications - Customer service experience preferred but not required - Friendly, approachable, and comfortable interacting with guests - Ability to stand and move continuously during shift - Reliable, punctual, and able to work early mornings - Strong attention to detail and cleanliness Schedule & Compensation - Part-time position - Shifts run 6:00 AM to 11:00 AM–12:00 PM depending on occupancy - Shifts are Friday, Saturday, & Sunday weekly.
