Manager, Supply Chain Data & Governance (Chilliwack)

Manager, Supply Chain Data & Governance (Chilliwack)
Description
Manager, Supply Chain Data & Governance Fully Remote | Full-Time | Leadership Opportunity Bonus | World-class perks and incentives Overview This role owns supply chain master data and the governance, analytics, and reporting layer that sits on top of Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O;). Reporting to the SVP of Supply Chain Analytics this leader is accountable for the integrity of the data that drives planning, operations, and executive decision-making across the Operations Supply Chain. The successful candidate is a builder and an operator — equally comfortable in a Power BI dataset, an F&O; data entity, a governance committee, and a planning conversation. Scope of Role Master Data Ownership & Governance - Own supply chain master data within D365 F&O; — including item master, BOMs, routes, vendors, locations, units of measure, cost categories, and planning parameters — and lead the team responsible for its day-to-day maintenance. - Define, publish, and enforce master data standards, naming conventions, and change-control processes; hold approval authority on changes to the supply chain data model and master data attributes. - Establish and chair the Supply Chain Data Governance forum, including data stewards across Planning, Procurement, Operations, Quality, and Finance. - Lead post-go-live master data remediation: identify, prioritize, and resolve data quality issues exposed by the F&O; implementation, working with stewards and BT to close them at the source. - Define data quality KPIs and publish ongoing scorecards on master data health. Analytics, Reporting & BI Enablement - Own the supply chain reporting layer built on F&O; data — using Power BI on top of Dataverse, Synapse Link, or BYOD as appropriate — including semantic models, datasets, row-level security, and DAX measures. - Lead the design, development, and ongoing maintenance of executive dashboards and KPI reporting that give leadership visibility to supply chain performance, risk, and exceptions. - Define and publish official KPI and metric definitions across the supply chain; act as the single source of truth for what each metric means and how it is calculated. - Build and execute a plan to scale self-service analytics for internal supply chain users, including data literacy, tooling standards, and a curated dataset library. - Lead and develop the data analyst team. ERP Partnership (F&O;) - Act as the supply chain business owner for the F&O; data layer, partnering with Business Technology on data entities, integrations, and the reporting stack. - Provide insights into F&O; enhancements and roadmap discussions where master data, reporting, or supply chain data integrity is impacted. - Identify and prioritize data, reporting, and analytics gaps surfaced post-go-live; build the business case and coordinate with BT for resolution. Cross-Functional Enablement - Partner with the Planning team to ensure planning parameters and master data inputs supporting demand planning, supply planning, and scheduling are accurate, governed, and trusted. - Support M&A; activity with data integration planning, master data harmonization, and reporting integration for acquired entities. - Drive change management and adoption of governed data, reporting standards, and analytics tooling across the supply chain organization. Knowledge and Experience Required - 5+ years in data, analytics, or master data roles, with 3+ years directly supporting supply chain, manufacturing, or operations in a CPG, FMCG, food & beverage, pharma, or regulated industry. - Demonstrated ownership of a master data domain — including standards-setting, governance frameworks, and data quality programs — not just operational maintenance. - Advanced Power BI — including semantic data modeling, DAX, dataset design, row-level security, and the F&O; → Power BI reporting stack - Strong SQL and experience working with relational data and ERP data models. - Direct experience with Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations — specifically supply chain master data, data entities, and the F&O; reporting layer. Post-implementation experience is a solid asset. - Demonstrated executive presence and influence — able to hold the line on data standards with senior operators, chair cross-functional forums, and say no when required. - Strong understanding of supply chain fundamentals — demand planning, inventory management, MRP/MPS, manufacturing, and logistics — sufficient to be credible with planners and operators without owning their execution. What Success Looks Like in Year One - Master data quality is measured, scored, and visibly improving against published baselines. - A supply chain data governance framework is in place, with active stewards and a functioning governance forum. - Executive supply chain reporting is consolidated, trusted, and governed by a single set of definitions. - Self-service analytics adoption is growing on a curated, governed dataset library. - The supply chain organization treats this role as the authoritative voice on data, reporting, and master data — not as a support function.
