Residential Painter Job SummaryWe are seeking hardworking, reliable, and detail-oriented Residential Painters to join our team for the spring and summer season. Painters will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying high-quality coatings, and delivering professional results on residential painting projects. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on work, working outdoors, and being part of a fast-paced team environment. Responsibilities Prepare residential surfaces for painting through scraping, sanding, caulking, masking, pressure washing, and priming. Apply paints, stains, and coatings using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment while maintaining high-quality workmanship. Complete interior and exterior painting projects efficiently and professionally. Operate ladders, scaffolding, and basic painting equipment safely. Maintain clean and organized job sites throughout the duration of each project. Follow all company safety procedures and properly use personal protective equipment (PPE). Communicate professionally with homeowners and team members on-site. Assist with setup, cleanup, material handling, and general labor tasks as required. Ensure projects are completed on time while meeting company quality standards. Work collaboratively with crew members and crew leaders to solve problems and maintain productivity. Qualifications Previous painting experience is considered an asset but is not required — training is provided. Solid work ethic and willingness to learn. Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting, climbing ladders, and standing for extended periods. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Reliable transportation is considered an asset.
