About the Role The Outside Sales Representative will be responsible for developing new business opportunities while maintaining and growing existing client relationships across the construction, excavation, civil, trucking, and development sectors. This role is highly relationship-focused and ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on industry environment, enjoys meeting clients on-site, and understands the importance of responsiveness, communication, and customer service. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain strong relationships with contractors, developers, builders, municipalities, and industrial clients Identify and pursue new business opportunities throughout the assigned territory Conduct regular site visits and customer meetings Prepare pricing, quotations, and proposals for customers Coordinate closely with operations, dispatch, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution and customer satisfaction Maintain ongoing communication with customers regarding timelines, product availability, and project requirements Monitor market activity, competitor trends, and industry developments Manage sales activity, pipeline updates, and customer interactions within CRM systems Represent the company professionally within the construction and aggregate market Qualifications 3+ years of outside sales experience, ideally within construction materials, aggregates, trucking, excavation, civil construction, or related industries Strong relationship-building and business development skills Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, including project managers, estimators, site supervisors, and business owners Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable managing a territory independently Robust negotiation and customer service skills Knowledge of the Fraser Valley and Lower Mainland construction market is considered a strong asset Valid driver’s license and ability to travel throughout the region What’s Offered Competitive base salary plus commission structure A company vehicle is provided Opportunity to join a stable and reputable organization Collaborative and supportive team environment Long-term growth potential within the organization If you are a motivated sales professional looking to join a respected organization within the construction and aggregate industry, we would welcome the opportunity to speak with you confidentially.
