Maintenance Power Engineer Role (Chilliwack)

Bring your expertise to Puratos as a Maintenance Power Engineer, dedicated to ensuring the reliability of critical production systems. This position is vital for maintaining safe and productive operations. As a Maintenance Power Engineer, you will report to the Maintenance Manager and be responsible for the upkeep of boilers and production equipment. You will implement preventive maintenance programs, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure that all safety standards are met. Your role involves accurate data entry into PMXPERT and fostering a culture of safety and efficiency within the team. Key Responsibilities: - Support preventative maintenance to reduce equipment downtime - Diagnose and repair various production equipment - Coordinate repairs with external contractors as necessary - Keep accurate maintenance logs in PMXPERT - Monitor and promote safe work procedures Requirements: - Previous experience in a maintenance role - Class 5 power engineering certification required - Strong problem-solving abilities - Knowledge of PMXPERT and PLC systems - Ability to work physically demanding tasks Utilize your technical know-how and organizational skills to contribute to Puratos' success in safe operations.
