Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Cashier/Sales Associate for a keyholder position to join our team. You will be responsible for reliably opening/closing the store, providing excellent customer service while efficiently handling transactions and promoting our products. The ideal candidate will possess a knack for sales, and the ability to manage time effectively and work independently in a fast-paced setting. Responsibilities - Operate the cash register and process customer transactions accurately using the POS system. - Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and addressing any concerns. - Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers about features and benefits, enhancing their shopping experience. - Engage in upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities and promote additional products. - Maintain a clean and organized checkout and sales area, ensuring all merchandise is properly displayed and customers enjoy a clean, safe experience. - Assist with inventory management, including restocking shelves and organizing products as needed. Requirements - Previous cashiering experience required, with familiarity in operating POS systems. - Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell products effectively. - Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy retail setting. - Basic math skills for accurate transaction processing and cash handling. - Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members. - MUST ADHERE TO MANDATORY DRESS CODE - Must be able to work independently when required. - Must be reliable and responsible - Must live in the Chilliwack store area Join our dynamic team where your contributions will make a difference in delivering outstanding customer experiences!
