We're scaling our paid social efforts and need a talented graphic designer to help us produce high-converting static Meta ad creatives that drive real results. About the Role We're looking for a Freelance Graphic Designer to join us on an ad-hoc basis to support the growth of our Meta advertising. This is a performance-focused creative role - you'll be designing static ad creatives that stop the scroll and convert browsers into buyers for Cedar Planters. We need someone who can hit the ground running with immediate availability. No long onboarding, just great creative from day one. While we have an immediate need for freelance, project-based support, this role offers the potential to transition into a full-time or long-term relationship for the right person. What You'll Be Doing - Designing static ad creatives for Meta (Facebook & Instagram) campaigns for Cedar Planters - Producing multiple creative variations per brief to support A/B testing and scaling winning concepts - Translating performance briefs and brand guidelines into compelling, conversion-focused visuals - Iterating quickly on creative based on performance data and feedback - Maintaining high output quality while working efficiently to meet fast-moving timelines What We're Looking For - 3+ years of professional graphic design experience - Proven experience designing paid social creative for DTC ecommerce brands — you understand the difference between brand design and performance creative - Strong portfolio demonstrating static Meta ad creative in multiple formats (ie: image, carousel, GIFs, etc.) - please include this with your application - Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator), Figma or similar - A solid understanding of what drives conversions - hooks, visual hierarchy, offer clarity, and Meta platform best practices - Familiarity with current social media trends, content types and how they fit into contemporary marketing strategy & funnel – from awareness to direct action - Ability to work independently, manage your own time, and turn around assets quickly - Immediately available - this is a requirement, not a preference Nice to Have - Experience designing for home & garden, outdoor living, or lifestyle ecommerce brands - Familiarity with creative testing frameworks and performance marketing concepts - Experience working within or alongside a performance marketing team How to Apply Please apply with: - Your portfolio or relevant work samples (static Meta ad creative preferred) - A brief note on your availability and typical turnaround capacity - Your hourly or project-based rate We review applications on a rolling basis and will prioritise candidates available to start immediately.
