Part-Time Graveyard Dispatcher / Security Guard (Chilliwack Office) Allegiance 1 Security & Traffic Control Ltd. is a growing security company based in Chilliwack, BC. We are currently seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and skilled individual to join our team as a Part-Time Graveyard Dispatcher / Security Guard. This is an in-office position located in Chilliwack and is not a remote role. Dispatch Schedule - Every Saturday: 8:00 PM – 8:00 AM - Statutory Holidays: 8:00 PM – 8:00 AM - Additional shifts may be available from time to time to cover vacations, sick calls, or operational needs. Position Overview Dispatch Responsibilities - Monitor mobile patrol operations and guard activity throughout Chilliwack and Abbotsford - Receive and document alarm calls and service requests - Maintain communication with field personnel - Track patrol completion times and check-ins - Review and edit reports for accuracy and completeness - Document incidents and alarm responses - Update dispatch logs and operational records - Provide professional customer service to clients and staff - Assist with general overnight operational support as required During quieter periods, the successful candidate will also need to conduct light cleaning/sanitizing and organizing duties, monitor cameras, create inventory lists, while remaining available to answer dispatch calls and respond to operational needs. Static Security Responsibilities (Hours will vary based on each site) - Conduct regular foot patrols of the office property and surrounding areas - Ensure doors, gates, and access points remain secure - Identify and document safety concerns, maintenance issues, or suspicious activity - Respond appropriately to alarms, incidents, or emergencies - Complete patrol and incident reports as required - Maintain a visible security presence throughout the shift - Assist with general site security and loss prevention measures Qualifications - Holds a valid BC Security Worker License (BST) - Comfortable using Windows-based computers and learning new software platforms - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills - Excellent problem-solving abilities - Professional communication and customer service skills - Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in a fast-paced setting - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision - Physically capable of conducting regular foot patrols throughout the shift What We're Looking For...
