Assistant Manager (Sardis)

As part of the Subway® Team, you as an Assistant Manager will focus on seven main things: - Providing an excellent Guest experience - Ensuring that great food is prepared & served - Keeping our restaurants functional, clean and beautiful - Controlling inventory - Scheduling and supervising staff - Maintaining standards of restaurant safety and security - Being a team player In addition to the role of a Shift Manager, key parts of your day to day will consist of: - Managing a staff of 4-12 including assigning and evaluating work - Assisting in the planning of special events and promotions in restaurant, coordinating any training needed to make events successful - Assisting with product ordering and inventory as needed As a Subway® Team Member, you’ll have access to: - Brand partnership discounts - Scholarship Opportunities - Chance to earn University course credits - Hands on career experience in a restaurant business PREREQUISITES Education: High school diploma or equivalent Experience: Experience in a restaurant operation, preferably with supervisory experience. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Must be an excellent communicator with the ability to deal with all levels of team members. Computer knowledge is desirable. Physical: Ability to work any area of the restaurant as needed and to operate computerized Point of Sale system/cash register. This position requires bending, standing and walking the entire workday.
