Professional Cleaner (Chilliwack)

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various environments, ensuring that all spaces are hygienic and welcoming. This role requires a strong commitment to quality service and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. Valid drivers license and reliable vehicle required. Duties - Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting in designated areas. - Utilize appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment to ensure effective sanitation of surfaces. - Handle heavy lifting as required for moving furniture or equipment during cleaning processes. - Operate hand tools and power tools safely while performing maintenance tasks. - Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, break rooms, and common areas, ensuring all facilities are stocked with necessary supplies. - Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding cleaning schedules and any maintenance issues. - Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify areas needing attention or repair. - Manage time efficiently to complete all assigned tasks within designated timeframes. Skills - Solid customer service skills to interact positively with clients and staff. - Experience in commercial cleaning or custodial work preferred but not required. - Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. - Physical capability to perform heavy lifting as needed throughout the day. - Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members. - Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently. - Knowledge of facilities maintenance practices is a plus.
