No Canadian experience is required for this position. About This Role Reporting to the Team Leader, the Order and Packaging Clerk plays a key role in preparing, packaging, and shipping orders. The incumbent ensures order accuracy, manages priorities, and strictly adheres to sanitation standards, while working closely with the various teams at La Fromagerie. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES: - Prepare cheese orders using the KESA ordering system; - Complete the packaging of products according to established procedures; - Follow the order of priority for orders; - Generate shipping documents and invoices for customer orders; - Manage cheese arrivals and departures at the loading dock; - Receive packaging materials, boxes, and pallets; - Conduct inventory counts and ensure stock accuracy; - Operate, adjust, and perform basic maintenance on packaging equipment (portioner, wrapper, tray sealer); - Plan packaging based on available inventory; - Strictly adhere to food safety, health and safety, and food quality standards; - Notify quality control prior to packaging to conduct required sensory tests; - Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment; - Complete required records electronically; - Provide support to other departments (strapping, brining, aging, washing) as needed; - Perform any other related tasks associated with operations. What You Have - Have work experience in an equivalent position; - Be able to repeatedly lift loads exceeding 20 kg; - Demonstrate a strong sense of responsibility and autonomy; - Possess and demonstrate good computer and mathematical skills; - Be reliable, versatile, and versatile; - Show attention to detail and thoroughness; - Be open-minded and able to adapt to change; - Interest in the agri-food industry and local products (an asset); - Availability according to business hours (day, evening, and weekends); - Proficiency in French; English is an asset.
