Landscape Labourer (Cobourg)

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated General Laborer to join our growing landscape and outdoor construction team. This role involves hands-on work assisting with the installation and construction of high-quality outdoor spaces, including landscaping, stone patios, gardens, pool projects, decks, and other outdoor features. Experience in landscaping or construction is considered an asset but is not required. We are primarily looking for someone with a great attitude, strong work ethic, and reliability. The right candidate will be someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in their work, and is respectful and easy to work with. Our company focuses on well-designed, mid-size to high-end residential outdoor projects, and we take pride in maintaining a positive work environment and strong relationships with our clients. We are happy to train the right person, as attitude and reliability are most significant to us. The preferred seasonal start date for this position is June 1 through November 1. Responsibilities - Assist with landscape and outdoor construction projects such as patios, planting, soil preparation, and grading - Support installation of landscape features including pavers, gardens, and outdoor structures - Perform physical labor including moving materials, digging, planting, and general site preparation - Assist with woodworking tasks such as deck or structural components when required - Maintain a clean and organized job site - Work alongside the site foreman and team members to complete projects efficiently and safely - Follow all company safety procedures and maintain professional conduct on job sites - Interact respectfully with coworkers and clients while on project sites Requirements - Prior landscaping or construction experience is considered an asset but not required - Strong work ethic with a willingness to learn new skills - Punctual, reliable, and respectful toward coworkers and clients - Comfortable performing physical labor and working outdoors in varying weather conditions - Ability to follow direction and work as part of a team - Must have reliable transportation to travel to job sites - Positive attitude and professionalism are essential What We Offer - Competitive pay based on experience - All tools and equipment provided - Training and skill development opportunities - A positive work environment focused on teamwork and high-quality work - Opportunity to gain experience in landscape construction, outdoor design projects, and specialty installations If you enjoy working outdoors, take pride in your work, and want to be part of a team that values attitude, reliability, and quality craftsmanship, we would love to hear from you.
