Videographer / Content Producer (Glass Art & Toolmaking) Overview We are hiring a videographer/content producer to document high-skill glassworking processes and create high-impact content for social media and e-commerce. This role is focused on capturing real process and turning it into engaging, high-performing content. The work involves filming in a workshop workplace (heat, motion, reflective materials) and producing content that drives attention and sales. This is not event videography or corporate content. What You’ll Be Doing Film glassworking and toolmaking processes in a workshop environment Capture product footage (tools and finished glass pieces) Produce short-form content (Reels, Instagram, Shorts) optimized for engagement Create clean, product-focused videos for website and marketing use Edit footage into tight, high-retention content (strong pacing, no filler) Turn one shoot into multiple pieces of content Maintain a consistent visual style across all content Organize footage for efficient reuse and scaling AI + Content Workflow Use AI tools to speed up editing and content production Generate variations of content (different hooks, cuts, formats) Assist in improving content performance through iteration Continuously refine output based on what performs best What We’re Looking For Strong ability to film clean, visually engaging footage Ability to edit fast, high-retention short-form content Good instincts for pacing, hooks, and attention Self-sufficient: can film, edit, and deliver without constant direction Comfortable working in a hands-on workshop environment Strong advantage: Experience filming reflective, glossy, or transparent materials (glass, metal, liquids, etc.) Tools & Software (Flexible) Experience with any modern editing software (Premiere, CapCut, DaVinci, Final Cut, etc.) Familiarity with AI-assisted editing tools (or willingness to learn quickly) What This Is Not Not event videography Not corporate interview-style content Not slow, over-edited production work Outcome Expectation Your work should: Increase engagement across social platforms Make the process visually compelling and addictive to watch Improve product presentation and contribute to sales How to Apply Submit: Portfolio (product or process work preferred) 2–3 examples of short-form content Brief explanation of how you would approach filming in a workshop environment Job Types: Freelance, Fixed term contract, Casual Contract length: 1-2 months Pay: $17.50-$25.00 per hour Expected hours: 3 – 6 per week Benefits: - Casual dress - Flexible schedule - On-site parking Work Location: Hybrid remote in Orono, ON Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2o4qw9
