Hiring Counterbalance Forklift Operators !! Responsibilities: - Operate forklifts and other heavy equipment to load and unload materials from trucks and storage areas. - Must have experience in Counterbalance and Raymond reach. - Safely transport materials throughout the warehouse while adhering to OSHA regulations. - Perform order picking tasks using RF scanners to ensure accurate fulfillment of customer orders. - Assist in shipping and receiving processes, verifying incoming and outgoing shipments against documentation. - Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all equipment is properly stored after use. - Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure mechanical integrity and report any issues to management. - Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and improve operational efficiency. - Participate in training sessions for new equipment or processes as required. Experience - Proven experience in warehouse operations, including materials handling and heavy lifting. - Familiarity with warehouse management systems and order picking processes. - Previous experience as a forklift operator or in a similar role is preferred. - Knowledge of safety practices related to heavy equipment operation and materials handling. - Experience with construction or mechanical knowledge is a plus. - Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a busy environment.
