Your Responsibilities
Design and develop instrumentation and control systems, including schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
Collaborate with internal teams and clients to gather requirements and ensure alignment with project objectives.
Lead or contribute to design reviews, ensuring compliance with regulatory and technical standards.
Support testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of complex systems and equipment.
Provide technical leadership on projects, including risk identification, solution development, and stakeholder communication.
Contribute to proposal development, cost estimation, and technical presentations to support business growth.
Skills and Qualifications
10+ years of progressive experience in design engineering within a regulated industry such as nuclear, aerospace, or oil and gas.
Degree in Electrical, Instrumentation&Control, Automation Engineering, or a related field, with a valid PEO license.
Proven experience leading or contributing to complex engineering projects across full project lifecycles.
Strong knowledge of design documentation, including schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications.
Experience with tools such as AutoCAD or AutoCAD Electrical, and familiarity with systems design and testing.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders and present technical concepts clearly.
Experience with CSA standards, CANDU systems, or IBM DOORS is considered an asset.
