Afternoon Shift Maintenance (Orono)

Our company is seeking a dependable Afternoon Shift Maintenance Person at our outdoor aggregate crushing/washing plant. The ideal candidate for this position will have industrial maintenance and possess the attention to detail necessary to help keep our plant in good working order. The right candidate will work well with the team of professionals at our fast paced organization and be comfortable with an afternoon shift schedule starting Sunday through to Thursday. Responsibilities: - Respond to and assist with the resolution of maintenance issues of the plant, such as conveyor repairs, screen plant changes, crusher repairs, bearing and gear box changes, welding/safety guard repairs and other industrial maintenance repairs as required. - Experience using a variety of tools. - Participating as required on identifying existing or potential safety issues. - Respond to emergency maintenance issues requiring immediate action - Work with the Site Foreman and crew to work prioritize and execute various repairs to the plant as required Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal Contract length: 10 months Pay: $26.00-$28.50 per hour Perks: - Dental care - Extended health care - Paid time off - RRSP match - Tuition reimbursement Ability to commute/relocate: - Orono, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) Experience: - Surface Mining, Construction or Farming: 1 year (preferred) - Heavy Equipment Operation: 1 year (preferred) - Industrial Maintenance: 2 years (preferred) Licence/Certification: - Class G Licence (preferred) Work Location: In person Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2oglnq
