Calandria Machine Operator (Cobourg)

Must have previous manufacturing experience and be able to work rotating shifts. Job Overview We are seeking a Machine Operator to join our clients team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating machinery to ensure the efficient production of high-quality products. We are seeking a highly motivated team player. - Operate and monitor production machinery and equipment - Maintain a clean and safe work workplace - Follow safety procedures and company policies - Cleaning the equipment and debris from the work area - Inputting information into the Manufacturing Information System - Equipment setup & troubleshooting - Lifting, bending, twisting Requirements. - High School or Equivalent - Mechanical aptitude and strong trouble shooting abilities - Must be a team player - Must be able to pass a complete security clearance - As a condition of employment all successful candidates must take and pass a substance test which includes checking for Marijuana as this is considered a Safety-Sensitive Site Experience - Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred - Familiarity with various production equipment and tools - Ability to follow safety protocols and guidelines - Strong attention to detail and quality control skills Job Types: Full-time, Temporary Contract length: 3 months Pay: From $25.81 per hour Application question(s): - Are you within 50 km of Cobourg - This is a 3 month contract with potential to be extended.
