Forestry Driver and Arborist Assistant, West Northumberland County (Millbrook)

Davey Tree Expert Co. is seeking a skilled driver and Arborist Assistant in Carp, Ontario. Drive safely while applying your tree care expertise in this on-site role.

In this full-time position, you will transport crew and equipment to various job sites efficiently. You will handle tree pruning and removal tasks while ensuring adherence to safety guidelines. This role requires strong teamwork and the opportunity for ongoing training and career growth within the arboriculture industry.

Key Responsibilities:• Drive commercial trucks with crew to project locations • Perform vehicle inspections regularly • Maintain a clean vehicle environment • Actively participate in tree care and pruning tasks • Operate tools and equipment safely, including chainsaws

Requirements:• Valid provincial AZ or DZ driver’s license • Background in Forestry, Horticulture, or Landscaping preferred • Willingness to work towards an Arborist certification • Strong identification skills for trees and shrubs • Capacity to lift 50 lbs and work efficiently with a team
