GIS Solution Architect - Remote Role, West Northumberland County (Millbrook)

Located in Peterborough, Ontario, this position involves pivotal contributions to enterprise architecture across multiple projects within the GIS Delivery Platform. Candidates must possess extensive experience in software patching, middleware analysis, and modernization strategies for legacy data systems. Key Responsibilities:• Lead GIS Delivery Platform planned maintenance efforts • Analyze modernization options for legacy GIS solutions • Configure and deploy ArcGIS Enterprise infrastructure • Support multi-ministry Federated Portal initiatives • Collaborate with project teams to provide architecture guidance

Requirements:• 10 years of IT experience with 5 years in architecture • Proficiency in GIS tools, APIs, and data lakes • Experience with JavaScript technologies and mobile development • In-depth knowledge of OPS architecture gating processes • Strong applied data modeling and solution design skills
